Van Town, a subsidiary of Arabia Development Group, has signed a strategic partnership with Beit El Gomla Group, one of Egypt’s leading hypermarket chains, to launch its latest branch within Galleria Mall in New Cairo, Invest-Gate reports.

The signing ceremony was attended by Eng. Tarek Shoukry, Non-Executive Chairman of Arabia Development Group, Eng. Ahmed Tarek Shoukry, Vice Chairman of the Group, and Mr. Rami Khattab, Board Member and Head of Development & Planning at Beit El Gomla. The agreement was officially signed by Ms. Rabab Serry, Vice Chairman of Arabia Development Group and CEO of Van Town, alongside Eng. Mohamed Fathallah, Chairman of Beit El Gomla Group.

The new branch will occupy a space of 4,000 square meters within Galleria Mall on South Teseen Street, with an expected opening between mid-April and mid-May next year—strategically scheduled ahead of the Eid al-Adha season to cater to peak consumer demand and strengthen the mall’s position as a premier retail and entertainment destination in East Cairo.

Eng. Tarek Shoukry, Non-Executive Chairman of Arabia Development Group, highlighted that the partnership reflects the Group’s vision to attract strong retail brands across its developments and diversify its business activities. He noted that the presence of Beit El Gomla within Galleria Mall adds significant commercial value, supporting the Group’s strategy to achieve balanced and sustainable growth across its portfolio in line with market trends and consumer expectations in emerging urban areas.
