Eng. Sherif El Sherbini, Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities, held a meeting with officials of City Edge Developments to follow up on the status of marketing, promotion, sales, and operations for a number of projects of the New Urban Communities Authority, in the presence of officials from the Ministry and the Authority. This comes within the framework of maximizing the benefit from the investments being pumped into development projects, Invest-Gate reports.
El Sherbini affirmed that the meeting comes as part of the periodic follow-up on the status of sales, marketing, and delivery of units across various projects in new cities, and the importance of increasing attraction factors and incentives for clients—whether investors or individuals—for projects implemented by the Ministry in new cities, as well as providing various services on an ongoing basis. He pointed out that the Ministry of Housing has, during the past period, implemented a large number of diverse units in several new cities, and accordingly, marketing plans have been developed for these units across different cities.
The Minister of Housing reviewed sales rates for some projects of the New Urban Communities Authority during the past period, as well as the company’s plan for promotion and marketing of a number of projects in New Alamein City, the New Capital, New Mansoura, and the Maspero Triangle, whether residential, commercial, or administrative units. The Minister stressed the necessity of continuously following up on and evaluating these plans in order to achieve the desired goals, maximize the benefit from the Authority’s inventory of units, maximize financial returns, and increase the rates of unit delivery to reserving clients.
During the meeting, El Sherbini also followed up on the status of operation and maintenance works for a number of projects that the company is undertaking in New Alamein City, the New Capital, and New Mansoura.
El Sherbini further directed that a timetable be set for delivering units to reserving clients across all projects, stressing the importance of adhering to these schedules and delivering the units at the highest level.
