The General Authority for Investment and Free Zones (GAFI) continues its efforts to raise awareness about the Investment Licensing Electronic Platform, officially launched as a key tool to facilitate investors in obtaining the licenses required to conduct their investment activities, Invest-Gate reports.
The platform represents a qualitative leap in the licensing system, being the first unified electronic window offering 460 services, including licenses, approvals, and permits needed to carry out economic activities in Egypt, across 41 government entities issuing licenses, all through a single digital window at https://tracklicence.gafi.gov.eg. This initiative reduces time and effort, enhances transparency and governance, and limits paper-based procedures.
The platform was developed by GAFI, in collaboration with the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, and in partnership with the licensing authorities, as part of the state’s efforts to create a more efficient, transparent, and attractive business environment for both local and foreign investments.
The steps to obtain a license through the electronic platform are as follows:
Register: Sign up on the Egypt Digital Platform, then create your account on the licensing platform to start your investment journey.
Apply: Choose your business activity and required license, and review all requirements clearly before submitting your application.
Upload: Easily upload all required documents electronically.
Track: Follow the status of your application step by step and interact with it in real time.
Pay: Settle the fees electronically with the highest level of security.
Receive: Obtain the final license without any multiple procedures or visits.
