Accor, a world leading hospitality group, has announced the signing of a partnership agreement with Saoud Urban Development to develop Swissôtel West Cairo, a prominent mixed-use project. The signing marks a significant milestone in the group’s expansion strategy in Egypt, one of its priority growth markets in the region, Invest-Gate reports.
Mixed Use Development in One of Cairo’s Fastest-Growing Districts
Swissôtel West Cairo will be located in West Cairo, one of the capital’s most vibrant and rapidly growing districts. The project has been designed to meet rising demand for integrated hospitality services, branded hotels and residences, and landmark development projects. The development reflects a strategic alignment between Accor and Saoud Urban Development to deliver future-focused projects that align with Egypt Vision 2030, support sustainable urban growth, and respond to evolving consumer expectations.
Premium Hospitality Experience Inspired by Swiss Standards
Swissôtel West Cairo will feature 180 guestrooms, offering guests an elevated stay experience rooted in the brand’s philosophy of refined living, combining Swiss precision, human care, and holistic wellbeing. Guests will enjoy three distinctive food and beverage destinations, a ballroom, flexible meeting and event spaces, as well as comprehensive leisure facilities including a swimming pool, a state-of-the-art health club, and a spa. Each space has been thoughtfully designed to restore mental balance and rejuvenate the body every day.
Branded Residences Redefining Luxury Living in Egypt
The hospitality offering will be complemented by branded residences comprising more than 250 distinctive units, setting a new benchmark for branded living in Egypt. These residences are specifically designed to meet the needs of both long-term residents and investors, combining meticulously crafted homes with seamless access to world-class hospitality services. The project will also feature carefully curated retail outlets, reinforcing Swissôtel West Cairo’s position as a mixed-use destination and a prominent social hub in West Cairo.

The hotel represents a cornerstone of this collaboration, marking the company’s first major real estate development project in Egypt and serving as a strategic entry point for its expansion and future investments beyond the Gulf region.
