“Housing Minister: Starting Sunday… Egyptian Expats’ Transfers Accepted for Beit Al-Watan Land Booking

Eng. Randa El-Menshawy, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, announced the start of accepting bank transfers from Egyptians abroad as credits in preparation for booking Phase 11 of the “Beit Al-Watan” project, starting next Sunday, March 15, and continuing until Friday, May 1, Invest-Gate reports.

Offering 3,600 Prime Land Plots

Engineer Randa El-Menshawy explained that the new offering includes 3,600 land plots in prime locations across several new cities, noting that the transfers of those wishing to book will be recorded as credits in preparation for booking in the new phase of the project.

This is part of the Ministry’s facilitation for Egyptians abroad regarding their bank transfers from abroad, eliminating obstacles and transfer issues they may face during the offering period, and ensuring equal opportunities among all bookers.

The Housing Minister confirmed the Ministry’s keenness to provide the opportunity for the largest number of Egyptians residing abroad to achieve their desire to own and build their private homes and stay connected to their homeland. She also noted that the “Beit Al-Watan” project has achieved great success and received wide acceptance and appreciation from Egyptians abroad since its launch by the Ministry in 2012, as the project included offering thousands of land plots and housing units in various patterns.

Requirement to Include Booking Code in Bank Transfer

Dr. Walid Abbas, Deputy Minister of Housing for Urban Communities, stated that it has been decided to accept transfers from those wishing to book until the website is updated with the land plots included in the new offering.

A period will also be provided immediately after the website update if the booker wishes to increase their credit, before starting to receive transfers that will grant the booker allocation priority.

The Deputy Minister of Housing for Urban Communities emphasized the necessity that the bank transfer includes one of the booking codes currently available on the “Beit Al-Watan” website for Egyptians abroad (as a reference code for the booker) until the website is updated with the new offering locations.
