The New Urban Communities Authority (NUCA) is offering 30,145 plots in new cities ranging from 209 to 1,500 meter squared for different income classes using land draw system starting May 2, Invest-Gate reports.
The land plots include 14,248 social housing plots, 10,626 distinguished housing plots and 5271 more distinguished housing plots.
Tarek Al-Sebaie, NUCA’s vice chairman, said that the booklets’ withdrawal terms and conditions will take place between May 2 and June 28 from the branches of the Housing and Development Bank, adding that it is prohibited to deal with any parties or individuals outside the bank’s branches.
The booklets withdrawal will proceed once the reservations start on July 2 up to July 22.
Al-Sebaie said that the land will be handed over during a specified period by notification of allocation and the allocated plots’ location will be available on NUCA’s website: www.newcities.gov.eg
Walid Abbas, Egypt’s Housing minister’s assistant for NUCA’s affairs, explained the payment plan for the other plots.
Abbas said that any construction work in the remaining plots should be completed within three years from the delivery date, provided that the recipient complies with the terms specified in the booklet.
