Launch of a New British School in Cairo

New Era Education announced the launch of Uppingham New Cairo, the latest addition to its portfolio of British schools in Egypt.

The new campus will be located within New Kairo, a flagship project developed by G Developments, Invest-Gate reports.

Expansion Following Uppingham Cairo’s Success

The new school builds on the success of Uppingham Cairo located in New Giza, marking a significant step in expanding premium British education across Cairo.

It reflects New Era Education’s broader vision to provide world class academic opportunities to a growing number of students in Egypt.

60,000 sqm Purpose Built Campus

The campus will span more than 60,000 square meters and will be designed as a purpose built British independent school.

It will feature state of the art academic facilities, sports infrastructure, and boarding amenities. The school is scheduled to open in 2028, with admissions expected to begin in 2027.

Signing and Groundbreaking Ceremony

To mark this milestone, New Era Education hosted a signing and groundbreaking ceremony at New Kairo.

The event was attended by board members and executives from New Giza Developments and G Developments, as well as trustees of Uppingham School.

Representatives from the British Embassy in Cairo and British Council also attended, highlighting the strong educational ties between the UK and Egypt.
