Al Motahedoon Group Launches Eterna Healthcare City with EGP 1.2 bn Investments at Emaar’s Mivida

Al Motahedoon Group, a healthcare developer with 25-years track record in Egypt and the region, launched an upscale medical complex located at the heart of  the business center of Emaar Misr’s Mivida, Invest-Gate reports.

To be delivered in 2021, the 80,000 square meter built-up project will be developed at a total cost of EGP 1.2 bn, on a total land area of 24,000 square meter.

The project, dubbed Eterna Healthcare City, comprises a hospital, fully finished multidisciplinary clinics, medical labs, radiology centers, specialized centers, pharmacies, and commercial units associated with medical activity. It will also include a number of amenities and facilities; all in line with the latest international standards for healthcare facilities.

Designed and landscaped by award-winning EHAF Consulting Engineers, the project offers modern planning, smart wellness services, as well as biophilic design concepts. Units available at Eterna Healthcare City deliver varying modules and sizes, ranging from 40 to 1000 square meters.

“We are collaborating with Emaar Misr to ensure quality implementation of our vision; we want to ensure our residents have the best quality care,” according to Montasser Abd El Baki, Managing Director at Al Motahedoon Group.

Every year Egypt needs a minimum of 2,500 beds (1.5 beds / 1,000 population) to 3,500 (2 beds / 1,000 population), resulting in a requirement of additional 26,000 to 77,000 new beds by 2020 (and between 102,000 to 178,000 beds by 2050, which is a considerable increase), the company says.
