IWG Hits Record Revenue and Global Expansion

International Workplace Group (IWG), the world’s largest provider of flexible workspace solutions, announced record-breaking performance in 2025, reporting $4.5 billion in revenue while signing agreements for 1,132 new centers and opening 782 locations worldwide, Invest-Gate reports.

Record Financial Performance

The company achieved 4% revenue growth, with EBITDA rising 6% to $531 million, highlighting the strength and scalability of its business model and its ability to generate strong cash flows.

Asset Light Growth Strategy

IWG’s expansion was primarily driven by its asset-light partnership model, with 99% of new deals signed under management agreements. This approach enhances operational efficiency while minimizing capital expenditure, with 769 centers launched under flexible formats including franchising and variable rent models.

Global Expansion Driven by Flexible Work Demand

IWG’s global network expanded by 16% to reach 4,609 locations, fueled by rising demand for flexible workspaces across suburban, local, and major urban markets.

Egypt as a Key Growth Market

Egypt continues to be one of IWG’s fastest-growing markets, with over 20 new centers added in the past two years. The company aims to reach 60 centers by the end of 2026 and expand to 150 flexible workspaces by 2030.

High Growth Sector with Massive Potential

With a total addressable market exceeding $2 trillion and around 1.2 billion office workers globally, the flexible workspace sector continues to demonstrate strong growth potential driven by evolving work trends.
