O West project, owned by Orascom Development, announced the signing of an exclusive sponsorship agreement with Egyptian squash champion and professional player Hania El Hammamy, making it her exclusive sports and marketing sponsor in the real estate development sector for three years until the Los Angeles 2028 Olympics, where squash will be included for the first time, Invest-Gate reports.

This step comes as part of enhancing Orascom Development’s position as a key supporter of squash and Egyptian sports on the international stage, leveraging its commitment across its various destinations to host squash tournaments. O West Club has hosted the CIB Squash Open over the past two years (Diamond category in 2024 and Platinum category in 2025). Meanwhile, El Gouna has been hosting the Gouna Squash Open for more than 15 years, reflecting its ongoing role in supporting and developing the sport locally and globally.
