Hometown Developments Obtains Ministerial Approval for “West Gardens” Ahead of Construction Launch

Hometown Developments announced that it has obtained the ministerial approval for its “West Gardens” project in New Nasser City – West Assiut, a strategic step that reflects the project’s readiness for actual launch and confirms the company’s commitment to turning its expansion plans into reality according to a clear and defined timeline, Invest-Gate reports. 

Eng. Tarek Bahaa, CEO of Hometown Developments, stated that obtaining the ministerial approval represents a major starting point for the project and reflects the company’s commitment to institutional work based on full compliance with all legal requirements and regulations, ensuring the highest levels of investment security for clients and strengthening the company’s credibility in the market.

He added that Hometown Developments adopts a clear strategy focused on accelerating development and construction rates immediately after completing all official procedures, noting that the company will begin implementation of the project immediately in line with its plans to deliver projects according to precise timelines that meet clients’ expectations and reinforce their confidence in the company.

Upper Egypt Investments and Expansion Vision

Bahaa explained that the company’s investments in Assiut Governorate have reached nearly EGP 20 bn, reflecting the company’s long-term vision toward Upper Egypt cities and its belief in its role as one of the key drivers of urban development in these promising areas.

He affirmed that the company is implementing an ambitious expansion plan targeting effective presence in various new cities to diversify its project portfolio and provide integrated real estate products that meet the needs of different customer segments. He pointed out that expanding in Upper Egypt is not merely an investment decision, but rather a strategic direction reflecting the company’s commitment to supporting the state’s vision for achieving comprehensive and balanced urban development.

He stressed that investing in Upper Egypt governorates is both a national duty and a shared responsibility, as Hometown Developments seeks to contribute to creating integrated urban communities that support the local economy and provide real opportunities for housing and investment, in line with the state’s sustainable development vision across Egypt.

Project Details and Company Portfolio

Bahaa noted that the “West Gardens” project represents a model for integrated urban communities. The project spans 32 feddans in the heart of New Nasser City – West Assiut, specifically in the Plateau area, one of the city’s most distinguished locations. He highlighted that the project enjoys a strategic location near the main road and the Plateau-Airport Road, close to the new governorate headquarters and the government services complex, in addition to its proximity to Assiut International Airport and the high-speed electric train axis, granting it high investment value and strong future growth opportunities.

He further pointed out that Hometown Developments continues to strengthen its position in the Egyptian real estate market through developing nine projects across different areas, including the New Administrative Capital, New Cairo, New Assiut, and the North Coast, with total investments exceeding EGP 110 bn.
