Hometown Developments has announced its plan to launch an “Internship Program” in collaboration with the Faculty of Fine Arts, as part of the company’s strategy to support and qualify young talent and bridge the gap between academic study and labor market requirements, Invest-Gate reports.
The announcement came on the sidelines of Hometown Developments’ main sponsorship and participation in the graduation projects event for the Architecture Department at the Faculty of Fine Arts, Capital University, held in the presence of a distinguished group of professors, experts, and specialists.
Eng. Tarek Bahaa, CEO of Hometown Developments, said the company believes that real investment is not limited to real estate projects alone, but extends to investing in people as the main driver of development and success.
In his speech during the forum, he added that Hometown Developments has succeeded over the past nine years in establishing itself as one of the prominent players in the real estate development sector. Its portfolio currently includes nine diverse projects across four strategic locations, with total investments exceeding EGP 110 billion, covering residential, commercial, administrative, and medical developments in the New Capital, Sixth Settlement, Assiut, and the North Coast.
He explained that since its inception, the company has been committed to delivering projects based on modern designs and integrated experiences aligned with the rapid development of the Egyptian real estate market. However, the human element remains the most influential factor in achieving sustainable success.

He emphasized that young people represent the true driving force capable of leading the future of various economic sectors, noting that universities are the primary source of talent and innovative ideas that companies need to continue growing and evolving.
He pointed out that the company is currently studying the launch of a practical training program in collaboration with the Faculty of Fine Arts, aiming to provide students with real exposure to the labor market, gain hands-on experience through participation in real projects, and understand professional working mechanisms within one of the leading real estate development companies.
He added that the proposed program represents an important step toward strengthening integration between academic study and practical application, helping students develop their technical and professional skills and better prepare for entering the job market after graduation.
He further noted that the company views such initiatives as a long-term investment in young talent, stressing that new ideas and the ambition of students add real value to companies, and that innovation always begins with young minds capable of offering different perspectives and unconventional solutions.
He affirmed that Hometown Developments’ sponsorship of the “Designing the Future” forum stems from the company’s belief in the importance of supporting events that bring together education, creativity, and the labor market, contributing to preparing a new generation of designers and professionals capable of meeting Egypt’s ongoing urban development needs.
He concluded by expressing the company’s aspiration to further strengthen cooperation with academic institutions in the coming period, contributing to preparing qualified professionals equipped with the knowledge and practical experience needed to participate in building the future of Egypt’s real estate sector.
