Prime Minister and Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Development Mostafa Madbouly revealed that the R5 district, to be named the New Garden City, will be built on an area of 1,000 acres in the New Administrative Capital, Invest-Gate reports.

The architectural style of the neighborhood will be inspired by the classic French style to resemble downtown Cairo’s Garden City area, Madbouly adds.

Madbouly also said that the district will encompass 23,000 residential units with varying types and designs, and will be provided by all the educational, healthcare, entertainment, religious, and commercial services.

The neighborhood will also include a residential towers area with around 2,000 housing units and a 5-star hotel, Madbouly showed.
