Cityscape Egypt 2019 Marks Success with New Project Launches

Cityscape Egypt held its eighth edition of the country’s largest networking exhibition at Egypt International Exhibition Center (EIEC), east Cairo, from March 27 to 30, with an expanded portfolio of exhibitors and a number of new project launches, reinforcing the show’s role at the heart of the reinvigorated Egyptian real estate market.

More than 60 companies, including industry heavyweights and first-time participants, showcased their flagship projects, with a full gamut of new-to-market real estate solutions at the four-day show, which ran across EIEC’s four halls.

This year’s exhibitors, up 25% from the 2018 edition, have set out their stall to engage discerning property investors and serious buyers with a diverse range of developments, from the latest in gated communities to the New Administrative Capital’s (NAC) first fully-furnished homes and smart compounds in Sheikh Zayed, west Cairo.

“The market is evolving, demand for variety is rising and as a result, the biggest names in the industry, joined by those looking to make their mark, have opened with an intent to set themselves apart from the competition, from the outset,” Cityscape Group Director of Informa Exhibitions Chris Speller said in an official statement.

Among the exhibitors who participated in Cityscape Egypt 2019 with a host of new projects to meet the needs of potential investors is Al Futtaim Group Real Estate, which launched three projects at its Cairo Festival City (CFC) flagship project – Oriana IV, Aura Apartments, and The Podium.

Oriana IV is an extension of Oriana Villas within a gated community inside CFC, offering 600 units that spread across 830,000 square meters of land, while featuring lush green landscapes, plazas, and paved walkways. Additionally, Aura Apartments comprises 14 six-story buildings, totaling 405 units. As for The Podium, it is CFC’s commercial complex, catering to the new generation of entrepreneurs and providing six five-story buildings with panoramic views of the plazas and private recreational areas.

Emaar Misr also unveiled three new phases within its existing projects; Streets of Dreams Villas in Uptown Cairo, Riva Villas in Marassi, and The Duos in Mivida, offering clients exclusive offers of 0% down payment and eight-year installment plans.

The North Coast’s Riva Villas has sold out its first phase units on the first day of Cityscape Egypt, offering townhouses at prices ranging from EGP 6.8 mn to EGP 9 mn. As for The Duos, it features modern apartment living with exclusive views of Mivida’s lush green landscapes and easy access to a number of premium facilities.

Meanwhile, City Edge Developments released its newest residential projects in the New Administrative Capital (NAC), Baroque and Al Masqsad, while showcasing Etapa – a smart integrated community located in the heart of Sheikh Zayed.

Al Ahly Sabbour Developments was also among those who launched new projects during the property exhibition, uncovering Orenda in El Mostakbal City’s The City Of Odyssia, east Cairo, with installment plans of up to eight years and a 5% down payment.

Additionally, Progate Development kicked off its first residential project in the NAC, Zavani, located in the R7 district. The compound boasts 1,376 housing units, varying between fully- and semi-finished apartments, duplexes, and penthouses, with areas ranging from 122 to 366 meters. With investments surpassing EGP 2 bn, Zavani stretches over 33 acres and offers all the daily necessities, including swimming pools, a playpark, a clubhouse, hiking and running areas, amongst others.
