Tatweer Misr Signs MoU With Kerten Hospitality for 7 Hotels

Tatweer Misr has signed on August 27 a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the international hotel operator Kerten Hospitality, a division of the leading investment firm Kerten, to develop seven hotels in the developer’s flagship projects, IL Monte Galala in Ain Sokhna and Fouka Bay in North Coast, Invest-Gate reports.

IL Monte Galala will have three hotels -Cloud7 Hotel and Serviced Apartments, a Cloud7 Hotel, and The House-Branded Villas, Serviced Apartments, and Hotel), featuring 1,340 keys and spreading across a total built-up area of 108,000 square meters.

Besides, Fouka Bay will feature four hotels -a Cloud7 Hotel, Two of The House-Branded Hotels and Serviced Apartments, and Cloud7 Hotel, Serviced Cabanas and Bungalows, offering more than 1,000 keys covering around 100,000 square meters.

The first hotel opening is The House Hotel in Fouka Bay, which is scheduled to start its soft opening in 202.

The developments will include multiple F&B options such as Kerten’s gourmet burger concept, Frikadell, and evening rooftop venues, as well as new concepts that Kerten is developing alongside Michelin star chef, Jumae Puigdengolas.

Tatweer Misr CEO and Managing Director Ahmed Shalaby noted that Kerten will add a new concept of tourism in Ain Sokhna area which is conference tourism.

Shalaby highlighted his satisfaction with his cooperation with Kerten and expected a successful partnership, adding that “We share the same DNA.”

“We are delighted with this new project that perfectly complements our expansion strategy across the Middle East,” according to Marloes Knippenberg, CEO of Kerten Hospitality.

Tatweer Misr has chosen Kerten because of its diverse approaches that cater all needs starting from luxury to affordability, Shalaby explained.
