Completing Invest-Gate’s series of roundtables over 2021, Invest-Gate is to hold a roundtable the future of commercial real estate in Egypt under its title “Going Commercial…The Future of Egypt’s Real Estate Market” in cooperation with the Egyptian Businessmen Association (EBA) on December 8, 2021. The roundtable will focus on the increased demand on commercial products in the capital and new cities and how attracting local and international investments could open many job opportunities.
Invest-Gate’s roundtable will host prominent experts in the Egyptian real estate sector, aiming at presenting and exchanging visions and proposals regarding customers’ needs and what they are looking for in commercial real estate, including industrial and administrative real estate, retail trade and logistics, as Invest-Gate believes in the importance of analyzing and studying current trends in the Egyptian real estate market.

The roundtable’s first session “Industrial Real Estate” will emphasize the role of the private sector in Egypt’s industrial development and how vital they are in urbanizing the country’s 48 new cities. It also discusses the role of PPPs and private sector partnerships for a faster implementation. It will also shed the light on the return of these large investments in the private sector, and the Egyptian real estate market in general, in addition to how this real estate product will attract more foreign investments.
The second session, titled “Administrative, Retail, Logistics in Real Estate”, will focus on the importance of determining the current demand and preferred areas for customers, and how to meet these needs after the spread of the corona pandemic, considering the changing nature of the product whether it is a retail, administrative, or logistic services. The session will also tackle the means of addressing the opportunities and challenges of investing in commercial real estate, in addition to attracting foreign investments to these real estate products. It will also discuss the role of partnerships between the private sector and the government, the government support, and how to market these real estate products locally and internationally.
