On a Ramadan night embodying the values of solidarity and humanity, PRE Group, the leading real estate development group, hosted the annual suhoor for the “Forset Hayah” initiative on the grounds of its Big Business District (BBD) project in New Cairo. The event was attended by high-profile ministers, including His Excellency Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Minister of Health and Population, and Her Excellency Dr. Maya Morsy, Minister of Social Solidarity, alongside a select group of business leaders and public figures.

Charity Auction to Support Children with Rare Diseases
This year’s suhoor featured the highlight event: a charity auction aimed at raising direct donations and contributions to fund the costly treatment of children with rare diseases. The “Forset Hayah” Foundation is one of Egypt’s most prominent humanitarian organizations that focuses on this group of children, providing medical and financial support and facilitating access to advanced genetic and pharmaceutical treatments that offer them a real “chance at life.”

PRE Group Affirms Its Leadership in Corporate Social Responsibility
Hosting this event reflects PRE Group’s ongoing approach to leading in corporate social responsibility; the group adopts a vision that goes beyond real estate development to play an active developmental partner role. With a record of annual initiatives, the group emphasizes that the true value of its success lies in its tangible impact on the quality of life for citizens and the Egyptian community.
On this occasion, Mr. Waleed Zaki, CEO and Founder of PRE Group, stated, “We are proud to host this distinguished gathering and participate in supporting the noble cause led by the ‘Forset Hayah’ Foundation. Continuing to support such events is a duty that the private sector must uphold, and PRE Group is committed to this. We believe that our real investments are not only in real estate projects but also in building human potential and providing hope for families facing serious health challenges, such as rare diseases.”
Zaki added that choosing to host the suhoor at Big Business District, one of PRE Group’s flagship projects, was due to its prime location in New Cairo and its accessibility from different parts of Cairo, enabling greater attendance and support for the humanitarian goal of the initiative.

“Forset Hayah”: A Humanitarian Mission and Sustainable Support for Children
In her speech during the event, Ms. Ghada Mounib, Founder and Head of the Board of Trustees of the “Forset Hayah” Foundation, stated, “The ‘Forset Hayah’ suhoor is not just a Ramadan event but a humanitarian message through which we reaffirm our commitment to children with rare diseases in Egypt. We are proud that ‘Forset Hayah’ is the first institution in Egypt exclusively dedicated to treating children with rare diseases, providing the necessary medical support and funding to access advanced treatments that offer them a true chance at life. This attendance and support reflect growing awareness of the importance of solidarity and demonstrate that collaboration between government institutions, the private sector, and civil society can make a real and sustainable difference in the lives of these children and their families.”

From Social Responsibility to Real Estate Leadership
The “Forset Hayah” Foundation is a leading platform that works in collaboration with government entities and civil society organizations to provide sustainable solutions for patients with rare diseases, while the Big Business District (BBD) project represents PRE Group’s latest icon in New Cairo, offering a fully integrated business destination with world-class standards.
It is worth noting that PRE Group owns a land portfolio exceeding 12mn sqm and has successfully developed more than 16 fully integrated real estate projects, delivering over 10,200 units over the past years, while maintaining a clear positive footprint in sustainable development and community engagement.
