Uptown 6 October for Investment and Educational Development, a subsidiary of the Uptown 6 October Group, has signed a strategic partnership with Global School Management (GSM), a global leader in the operation and management of K–12 schools, backed by the Saudi investment firm Safanad.
This partnership aims to launch the first premium international K–12 school within the Uptown 6 October development in West Cairo, with a total investment exceeding EGP 1.3 bn. The collaboration reflects both companies’ commitment to delivering a premium educational model aligned with the aspirations of future generations and enhancing the quality of education in Egypt.
Scheduled to open in 2027, the school will span 14,322 sqm, with a built-up area of 20,000 sqm, accommodating up to 1,680 students across 70 classrooms equipped with advanced technology. The campus will feature facilities such as science and technology labs, performing arts studios, sports complexes, and collaborative learning spaces, ensuring a comprehensive environment that meets the highest international standards.
According to the International Monetary Fund (IMF), Egypt’s real GDP growth is projected to reach 3.8% in 2025 and 4.3% in 2026, with further acceleration expected to approach 5% during the 2025–2029 period. This positive economic outlook reflects a resilient investment climate, and the project aligns with the country’s upward trajectory and growing demand for quality education.
