Walid El-Baroudi, Chairman of the General Authority for Construction and Housing Cooperatives (CHC – Egypt) and Secretary General of the Africa Ministerial Cooperative Conference holds a press conference with Simon Kiprono Chilogi, Kenyan Minister of Cooperatives and MSMEs Development, to explore the successes achieved by Kenyan cooperatives, Invest-Gate reports.
The press conference comes on the sidelines of the Tenth Technical Committee of the Africa Ministerial Cooperative Conference, which is held in the Kenyan capital, Nairobi, from May 22-24.
The conference commends Egypt’s efforts in hosting the 13th Africa Ministerial Cooperative Conference last October in the New Administrative Capital, under the auspices of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi.
Chilogi praises the NAC project and the housing projects being carried out by the Egyptian government and the CHC–Egypt.
He expresses his willingness to transfer the successful Kenyan experience in establishing databases of cooperative activities, as well as cooperation in the fields of crediting, banks, universities, education, agriculture, livestock, and fisheries.
For his part, Sherif Hamouda, Chairman of GV Investments, celebrates the strategic partnership with the CHC – Egypt, expressing his pride in sponsoring the international activities of the Authority as a national responsibility.
