Two water projects will be expanded in areas of Al Saf and Al Ayat in South Giza, according to Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities Mostafa Madbouly, reported Invest-Gate.
The projects aim to resolve drinking water problems and serve half million citizens at a cost of EGP 165 million.
The water station located in the Al Saf area was enhanced to double its capacity from 60,000 cubic meters to 120,000 cubic meters per day, at a cost of EGP 85 million. The water station was developed by the Arab Contractors Company.
As for the water station located in the Al Ayat area, it was developed to boost its capacity from 51,000 to 102,000 cubic meters per day at a cost of EGP 80 million, also by the Arab Contractors, added Madbouly.
