Head of the Central Authority for Mobility and Statistics (CAPMAS) Abou Bakr ElGendy expects the procedures of conducting Egypt’s population census in 2017 to be below EGP 800 mn, MENA reports.

At a press conference, on February 1, El Gendy announced the beginning of the first phases of 2017 census, adding “Egypt’s census is considered one of the cheapest globally in terms of expenses.”
