A public lottery will be held next week to allocate a total of 34,800 land plots within the social housing program located across eight new cities, according to a statement from the Ministry of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities.
Distribution of land plots is as follows: around 9,415 land plots in Sadat City, 17,700 plots in 10th of Ramadan City, 1,999 plots in Badr City, 382 plots in New Salhiya City, 469 plots in New Assiut City, 3,013 plots in New Sohag City, 325 plots in New Tiba City, and 1,540 in New Qena City.
Lands in Sadat City will be offered through a public lottery held for several days, according to Supervisor of the Commercial and Real Estate Sectors at the New Urban Communities Authority Tarek El Sebaey.
Lands in 10th of Ramadan City will be dedicated for social housing projects and will be made available through lottery in January. Registering applicants are required to submit a proof of a down payment receipt following their application in the Housing & Development Bank, added El Sebaey.
