Eight real estate companies were eligible to compete in a 49,500-acre tender through the one-window investment system in Dakahlia governorate, reported Al Borsa News.
The land to be auctioned is divided over eight plots in Mansoura, Meit Ghamr, Sanabelwen, Aga, and Menya Alnasr, said Mohamed Alagez, Undersecretary of the Dakahlia Housing Directorate.
The companies are expected to submit their financial offers by next month. The land is earmarked for establishing stores, shopping malls, touristic restaurants, and health clinics, added Alagez.
The estimated time for completing the projects is between three and six years, with the governorate facilitating payment plans over three to five years.
