A total of EGP 60 million will be allocated in the investment plan for fiscal year 2016/2017 for improving the efficiency of 22 roads in the Giza governorate, said Giza Governor Mohamed Kamal El-Daly, reported Daily News Egypt.
The road work will be undertaken in nine districts in the governorate and includes the paving of roads and the main axis in Monshaet El Qanater, Awsim, Kerdasa Abu Nomros, Badrashin, Ayat, Atfeeh, and the Wahat areas, Al Mal News reported.
The projects include road pavement starting from Alkarta to the entrance of El Gamal Souk, as well as strengthening and resurafacing defective areas in Torad Al Nil Bridge in Monshaet El Qanater, said Sayed Fathi, Head of Directorate Roads in Giza.
