Abbas Inspects the Ongoing Projects of New Aswan City

Deputy Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities for National Projects Khaled Abbas visits New Aswan City to inspect the ongoing project,  accompanied by Abdul Muttalib Mamdouh, vice-president of the New Urban Communities Authority (NUCA), Ahmed Rashad, head of the New Aswan City Development Authority and a group of officials, Invest-Gate reports.

The official tour focuses on the ongoing projects in the 1,050 acres-tourist river strip. The first of the project spans over 181 acres and consists of:

  • Two residential areas, encompassing 150 villas.
  • A 1,500-m tourist walkway, featuring a bike path and shops to serve the project.
  • A 6 km- Nile walkway, enjoying a direct façade on the Nile Corniche with panoramic views.

The Nile walkway accommodates (tourist bazaars – shops – cafés – pedestrian tunnel – tourist marinas- kids areas – pedestrian traffic trails – parking spaces).

The Nile walkway also features a 5.5-acre open-air theater with a capacity of 3,000 spectators, attached to 300-car parking and pedestrians bridges, implemented to connect the Nile promenade with the Villas areas.

Abbas stresses on the government’s adherence to the schedule of various projects and implementing all projects of the highest quality, the ministerial statement concludes.
