Abu Dhabi City Municipality announces improvement works to be implemented on the Sheikh Zayed Tunnel and Street in Abu Dhabi, at investments valued at AED 109 mn, WAM news agency reports.

To take 790 days to complete, the project will see the upgrade of new entry and exit points for the tunnel and improvements to junctions with other streets.

Abu Dhabi Municipality opened the 3.6- kilometers Sheikh Zayed Street Tunnel in 2012, which is the longest tunnel in the Middle East.
