Accor, in partnership with Contact Developments, has announced the launch of Pullman New Capital Hotel & Residences, marking the debut of the Pullman Hotels & Resorts brand in Egypt and its first presence in Cairo’s New Capital, Invest-Gate report.
The project aligns with Accor’s strategy to expand across high-growth markets, while also marking Contact Developments’ strategic entry into the hospitality sector through integrated, mixed-use destinations.
Integrated hospitality destination in the New Capital
Strategically located on Mohamed Bin Zayed Axis overlooking the Green River, the project offers direct access to key governmental, commercial, and residential districts, reinforcing the New Capital’s position as a rising hospitality hub in Egypt.
The development features a five-star hotel with 150 rooms, alongside 100 branded residential units, forming a dynamic mixed-use destination tailored for both visitors and residents.

A hybrid model combining hospitality and branded residences
The project reflects Pullman’s brand philosophy of blending business, leisure, and social interaction, offering a wide range of amenities including dining outlets, a lobby lounge, meeting and event spaces, a fitness center, spa, and swimming pool.
Additionally, Pullman Residences introduces serviced apartments to the Egyptian market, addressing the growing demand for flexible, high-quality living solutions in emerging urban communities.
Partnership supporting tourism and investment growth
Raki Phillips, Regional President at Accor, highlighted Egypt as a key growth market in the Middle East and Africa, noting that the New Capital presents strong opportunities for premium hospitality expansion.
Ahmed Fikry, CEO of Contact Developments, stated that the partnership represents a strategic move into hospitality, aiming to develop integrated lifestyle destinations that support Egypt’s rapidly growing tourism sector.
Expanding Pullman’s global footprint in Egypt
The launch is part of Pullman’s global expansion strategy, with the brand operating over 150 hotels across more than 40 countries, in addition to more than 60 projects currently under development, further strengthening Accor’s portfolio in Egypt and emerging markets.
