Egypt’s Administrative Capital for Urban Development (ACUD) has captured the attention of many at the prestigious MIPIM 2024 real estate exhibition in Cannes, France, with the productive participation of the company’s Chairman and Managing Director Eng. Khaled Abbas in an engaging panel discussion, Invest-Gate reports.

Iraq’s Minister of Construction, Housing, Municipalities, and Public Works Bangen Rekani also took part in the same discussion, praising strong relations between Egypt and Iraq.

Together, they explored strategic visions for enhancing international cooperation and investment in Egypt and Iraq. Attention was directed towards promising investment opportunities in both nations, alongside discussions on challenges and essential needs for sustainable development.

Abbas emphasized ACUD’s successful engagement at MIPIM 2023, which attracted global investors and entities to Egypt’s administrative capital and showcased collaborative opportunities. He reiterated the company’s commitment to participating in international events to promote vast investment opportunities and highlight recent developments in the capital.

Moreover, Abbas highlighted the positive step towards exporting real estate beyond Egypt, stressing the importance of international cooperation in real estate export and exploring available opportunities. He emphasized the significance of showcasing Egyptian projects and increasing foreign investment opportunities.

Furthermore, during MIPIM 2024, Abbas will conduct bilateral meetings with international investors, presenting the latest achievements and advancements in the new administrative capital as a globally sustainable and smart urban development model.

Speakers underscored the role of financial institutions and banks in supporting and financing developmental projects and the importance of international partnerships in achieving sustainable development goals.

Also, they reaffirmed the commitment to ongoing cooperation and knowledge exchange among participating parties, which aims to bolster sustainable development in the region.

Notably, ACUD’s participation this year aims to familiarize top officials, executives, and international experts in real estate development with its experience in national projects and plans.

Taking place from March 12th to 15th, MIPIM is one of the largest global real estate events. ACUD’s massive pavilion marks its second consecutive participation following a successful debut last year. With over 6,500 investors and 300 international firms from 90 countries, MIPIM is a pivotal development and property marketing platform.
