ACUD Delegates Visit France, Austria to Market NAC Project

A delegation of the Administrative Capital for Urban Development (ACUD) flew to Austria and France on February 2 to communicate with the Egyptian community abroad, as well as the international media, aiming to introduce them to the New Administrative Capital (NAC) project, east Cairo, Invest-Gate reports.

“During the visit, the delegation will highlight[ed] the new efforts exerted by the Egyptian state in the establishment of new urban communities worthwhile to Egyptian citizens, under the current political leadership, which seeks the best for all Egyptians,” read an official statement on February 2.

The statement noted that this step comes in line with ACUD’s efforts to market and promote the mega project abroad, under the directives of Ahmed Zaki Abdeen, chairman of the ACUD.

Spanning across 170,000 acres, NAC will include 20 residential areas that are expected to accommodate 6.5 mn people, featuring a 650-kilometer road network. The new smart city will also encompass an international airport and an electric train to link it with the 10th of Ramadan and El-Salam cities.
