ACUD in Collaboration with International Universities in the New Capital Offers 100 Scholarships to Outstanding Students From Upper Egypt and Border Governorates

For the third consecutive year, the Administrative Capital for Urban Development (ACUD), under the directives of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, is offering 100 scholarships to outstanding Egyptian public high school graduates as part of its initiative “100 Dreams for the Future… Education in the New Capital,” Invest-Gate reports.

The initiative, launched in cooperation with international universities based in the New Capital and supervised by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, aims to provide access to top-tier education for students from across Egypt.

The 2025–2026 academic year scholarships will be distributed across five international institutions: the German International University (GIU), Global Academic Foundation hosting the University of Hertfordshire (UK), the Canadian International College hosting the University of Prince Edward Island, the European Universities in Egypt hosting the University of London and the University of Central Lancashire, and the Knowledge Hub Universities hosting Coventry University and NOVA University. Each university will offer 20 scholarships.

This year, the scholarships cover Upper Egypt governorates in addition to the border governorates of North Sinai, South Sinai, Matrouh, and the New Valley. For the first time, students with special needs will also be eligible, in accordance with the regulations of the participating universities.

ACUD Chairman and Managing Director Eng. Khaled Abbas reaffirmed the company’s commitment to social responsibility. “We believe in the importance of investing in youth to help shape a better future and a generation equipped with knowledge and modern skills,” he said.

He added that tuition and transportation costs will be shared equally between the universities and ACUD. The company will also provide full coverage of educational supplies, laptops for each student, and a monthly stipend to cover housing and living expenses.

Abbas noted that students supported by the program in the past two years have ranked among the top achievers at their respective universities, reflecting the impact of President El-Sisi’s vision to widen access to quality education.

Participating universities offer programs in engineering, computer science, design, business, psychology, medical sciences, and more. Applications must be submitted through the portals of the respective universities, where eligibility criteria and program details are available.
