ACUD Partners with Universities to Offer 100 Scholarships for Students

Eng. Khaled Abbas, Chairman and Managing Director of the Administrative Capital for Urban Development (ACUD), has signed a protocol at the Ministry of Higher Education in the New Administrative Capital to offer 100 full scholarships to outstanding high school graduates from Upper Egypt and four border provinces, Invest-Gate reports.

This initiative aligns with President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi’s directives to support educational opportunities for students from these regions.

The scholarships are part of ACUD’s “100 Dreams for the Future… Education in the New Administrative Capital” initiative, which was launched last year. The program offers scholarships in various disciplines across five international universities in the capital. Each university will provide 20 scholarships, and students will be selected based on the specific criteria of each institution.

Abbas emphasized the importance of this initiative, reflecting ACUD’s commitment to corporate social responsibility and its goal of positively impacting Egyptian families. The scholarship costs will be shared between ACUD and the participating universities, with ACUD covering accommodation, living expenses, and transportation for the students.

This year’s program expands to include students from North Sinai, South Sinai, Matrouh, and the New Valley, in addition to Upper Egypt. The participating institutions are the German International University, Global (University of Hertfordshire), the Canadian Universities Foundation, the European Universities in Egypt, and the Knowledge Hub Universities (Coventry – Nova).

Abbas highlighted that these international universities are crucial in attracting residents and fostering growth in the New Administrative Capital.
