Eng. Khaled Abbas, Chairman and Managing Director of the Administrative Capital for Urban Development (ACUD), has received Minister Manuel Guerra Cavazos, the President-elect of the Municipality of García in the Mexican state of Nueva León; Ambassador Leonora Rueda, the Mexican Ambassador to Cairo; and their accompanying delegation during their visit to the New Administrative Capital (NAC), Invest-Gate reports.
A meeting took place between the visiting delegation and the company’s leaders to facilitate the exchange of experiences between the NAC Project and the Municipality of García.
This initiative is part of ACUD’s commitment to hosting delegations from various countries, promoting its projects and investments, showcasing the landmarks and significant developments taking place in the NAC, and expanding cooperation opportunities between nations across different fields.
The meeting involved a comprehensive presentation on the NAC project, highlighting the accomplished milestones as well as the planned initiatives for the future.
Eng. Khaled Abbas expressed his satisfaction at welcoming the elected President of the Municipality of García, Ambassador Leonora Rueda, the Mexican Ambassador to Cairo, and their accompanying delegation, emphasizing the long-standing history of cooperation and distinguished relations between the two friendly countries. He further extended a warm invitation to engage in urban development collaborations, sharing the experiences gained with the Republic of Mexico and other nations worldwide.
Minister Manuel Guerra Cavazos, in the same vein, expressed his delight at the cooperation between both countries, noting that Egypt and Mexico have a history of distinguished economic, social, and cultural collaboration. He aspired to expand the horizons of cooperation in the future and capitalize on the benefits derived from the establishment of the NAC.
Following the meeting, the delegation embarked on a tour of the NAC, visiting prominent landmarks such as the city’s command and control center, the flagpole area, and the Cathedral of the Nativity of Christ.
It is worth mentioning that the Municipality of García is situated in the northeast of the Republic of Mexico, belonging to the state of Nueva León. Spanning an area of 70 square kilometers, it boasts a strategic location, advanced infrastructure, a hub for major companies, and a high concentration of affluent individuals within Mexico.
