Abu Dhabi National Exhibitions Company (ADNEC) is launching the second phase of the Al Ain Convention Center, aiming to promote the business tourism industry in Al Ain, reported WAM.
The phase two expansion of the center will occupy 14,000 square meters in total, whereby the construction work and development of all facilities will be finalized in 150 days. The completion of the expansion is scheduled for early 2017.
The new conference facilities will be built on 1,000 square meters, complying with the high standards of the International Congress and Convention Association (ICCA). It will consist of two meeting rooms on the ground floor and three rooms on the first floor, allowing for a capacity of 600 people.
ADNEC’s CEO Humaid Al Dhaheri stated that phase two of the center is set to upgrade and encourage efficiency of all of ANDEC’s subsidiaries within the group, which will then attract major local and international exhibitions and events to the emirate, according to Trade Arabia.
