Al Ahly Sabbour Developments has signed new strategic cooperation contracts with Alshams for Contracting & Engineering works as part of its plan to enhance execution efficiency and accelerate progress across its flagship projects. The agreements, valued at approximately EGP 3bn, mark a renewed phase of collaboration between the two companies to expand construction works and launch new development stages in SUMMER, KEEVA, and GAIA, Invest-Gate reports.
The contracts cover major new construction phases across the three developments, reinforcing the company’s commitment to sustained quality and faster delivery timelines. In the SUMMER project in Sidi Heneish (km 246 Alexandria–Matrouh Road), launched in 2024, groundwork and leveling are currently underway as the company prepares to begin primary construction for Phase One on 27 feddans, comprising 90 buildings and 130 residential units.
At the KEEVA project in 6th of October City, the agreement includes the full execution of Phase Two, covering 68 buildings with 213 residential units, including groundwork, concrete works, semi-finished interiors, and façade finishing. These works will run in parallel with the ongoing construction of Phase One to maintain rapid progress and meet the project’s delivery schedule.
GAIA in Ras El Hekma has already witnessed strong progress, with Phase One fully delivered and operational (922 units) and part of Phase Two completed (107 units). The remaining portion of Phase Two is progressing toward delivery in summer 2026. Under the new contract, Phase Three will be executed across approximately 53 feddans, including 101 buildings and 750 units, supporting the project’s timeline and addressing rising demand for the North Coast destination.
The move reflects Al Ahly Sabbour’s strategy to strengthen partnerships with high-performance national entities and maintain exceptional execution standards across all development phases. The collaboration with Alshams Contracting spans more than 13 years, beginning in 2012 with the AMWAJ project on the North Coast and extending through major developments such as GAIA, Platinum Club in New Cairo, and Topaz in Ain Sokhna.
