Al Ahly Sabbour made a strong mark at Oman Real Estate Exhibition 2025 in Muscat, reinforcing its entry into the Omani market through its flagship project, Wadi Zaha, Invest-Gate reports.
The Egyptian developer reported over OMR 13.6 mn in sales from 185 residential units sold during the project’s first phase – roughly 50% of its 2025 sales target – just 90 days after launch.
Chairman Ahmed Sabbour welcomed Egypt’s Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities Eng. Sherif El-Sherbiny, accompanied by a high-level delegation. The visit was attended by prominent Omani officials including His Highness Bilarab bin Haitham bin Tariq Al Said and Dr. Khalfan Al Shueili, Oman’s Minister of Housing and Urban Planning, highlighting the strengthening real estate cooperation between Egypt and Oman.
During the exhibition, Al Ahly Sabbour announced the launch of Wadi Zaha’s second phase, offering fully finished and furnished villas and townhouses. The project is located in Sultan Haitham City, Oman’s first integrated smart city, and is aligned with Oman Vision 2040.
“We view our participation in Oman’s real estate expo as part of our broader regional expansion strategy”, Sabbour said. “Wadi Zaha reflects our philosophy of building integrated, sustainable communities that blend Omani heritage with modern infrastructure”.
The company is currently in talks with Oman’s Ministry of Housing to acquire land in strategic locations, including Downtown Khuwair, Green Mountain, and New Salalah City.
With three major projects – Wadi Zaha, Wadi Safa, and Wadi Tala – spanning 100 feddans and valued at OMR 440 mn, Al Ahly Sabbour aims to become a long-term investor in Oman’s real estate sector, offering more than 3,500 residential units and enhancing urban development in Sultan Haitham City.
