In a high-profile event at Oman’s Royal Opera House, Al Ahly Sabbour Developments launched “Wadi Zaha,” the first neighborhood in its flagship project within Sultan Haitham City, Invest-Gate reports.
The project, with a total investment of OMR 90 mn, marks a significant milestone in the company’s regional expansion. The ceremony was held under the patronage of Oman’s Minister of Housing and Urban Planning, Khalfan bin Saeed Al Shuaili, and attended by ministers, ambassadors, business leaders, and investors.
The project spans 100 feddans and features three residential neighborhoods: Wadi Zaha, Wadi Safa, and Wadi Tala, comprising around 3,500 units designed to meet the diverse needs of residents. Each neighborhood functions as a fully integrated, independent community on separate plots, showcasing Al Ahly Sabbour’s 30 years of experience in creating sustainable, livable developments.
For his part, Ahmed Sabbour, Chairman and Managing Director of Al Ahly Sabbour Developments, emphasized the importance of the venture, stating, “We are proud to be the first Egyptian real estate developer in Sultan Haitham City. This project reflects our strategic vision to expand into high-growth markets like Oman while leveraging our expertise to deliver exceptional communities.”
As the second-largest landholder in Sultan Haitham City, Al Ahly Sabbour’s partnership with the Omani Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning is set to enhance the bilateral economic relationship between Egypt and Oman, while aligning with the aspirations of future generations in the region.
