In a field visit to the work site of Al Ayat water supply network expansion, in Al Ayat city, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, Moustafa Madbouly, stressed on the need to boast the work process in order to complete the project by end of September, Invest Gate reported.
The network’s productive capacity stands at 51,000 cubic meter per day, Madbouly said, pointing out the the expansion is due to serve the city of Al Ayat and 35 other villages without resorting to a shift-based water distribution regime.
During the visit to the network’s water analysis laboratory, Madbouly emphasized on the need to examine, evaluate and assess the water quality.
The visit was accompanied by Head of Executive Body for Drinking Water Projects and Sanitation, Hassan Al Far and Housing Minister Consultant for Utilities, Sayed Ismail, during which Madbouly pledged a follow-up visit in August.
