Al Dar Properties is expected to start construction on its first mid-market housing block in Abu Dhabi’s Reem Island, reported The National.
The contract has been handed over to Fibrex, which will undertake the construction for AED 258 million.
Construction of the two 26-storey Meera Shams towers, located at the Shams area of Reem Island, is expected to begin immediately, according to the developer.
The project will consist of 400 apartments that have views over a landscaped park and will be targeted at mid-market buyers.
Buildings located in the project will also include an underground car park, a garden area, swimming pools, and a play area for children, according to WAM.
The project will also include canal walks, parks, a public beach, community mosques, schools and hospitals, clinics and shops.
