Al-Futtaim Group Real Estate, Egypt’s leading real estate developer, pledges its support to the “Save Hospital 57357” national donation campaign through its contribution to establish and equip a room within the bone marrow transplantation unit, Invest-Gate reports.

The step comes in line with the company’s support of the national donation campaign that aims at reducing the number of patients on the list, waiting to undergo bone marrow transplants.

“We are keen to support the Children’s Cancer Hospital Foundation – Egypt 57357 as we highly believe in the pioneering role it plays towards providing a ‘childhood without cancer’. That said, we fervently hope that it continues its role in saving more children through the years,” Managing Director of Al-Futtaim Group Real Estate, Ashraf Ezz El Din, says.

Ezz El Din adds that the contribution aims to spread awareness among various companies and entities, to fulfill their responsibilities towards the community in order to support the hospital and donate, in order to save it from the possibility of closing its doors.

“Thus, ensuring that its services continue to be provided to children for free, while achieving sustainable development and reinforcing the healthcare sector, in a way that supports children in need of treatment and care,” Ezz El Din points out.

For his part, Sherif Ali Abdel-Aal, Board Member and Children’s Cancer Hospital Foundation – Egypt 57357 Spokesperson, comments: “This reflects the group’s profound belief in its societal role as well as its keenness to fulfill its responsibilities towards society. It also highlights its deep-seated confidence in the hospital’s mission and the need to support it to continue its role in providing children with high-quality treatment in order to improve their recovery and survival rates.”
