Assem Al-Gazzar, Minister of Housing, inspects progress in different projects in New Alamein City, Invest-Gate reports.

Finishing works are completed for the facades of 15 towers in the coastal area, Al-Gazzar notes.

He adds that the Downtown towers in the city are underway, with a partnership between the China State Construction Engineering Corporation and the New Urban Communities Authority (NUCA).

The project comprises 5 residential towers, including the Iconic Tower, with a height of 250 meters, Al-Gazzar reveals.

He says that the Iconic Tower is set to be completed within 45 months.

The Downtown area incorporates 40 buildings, including 1,320 units, the minister unveils.

Furthermore, Al-Gazzar says that works are underway in the Latin District, which is situated at 404 feddans and comprises 6 residential areas.

He adds that the Heritage City is constructed in New Alamein on 260 feddans, hosting around 70 facilities.
