Assem Al-Gazzar, Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities, follows up on the projects being implemented in the new West Qena city, one of the fourth-generation cities that are being implemented in Upper Egypt on an area of about 9,000 feddans, Invest-Gate reports.
The Minister of Housing is briefed on the executive position of projects in the new West Qena, including housing projects and utility networks for the first phase of the city with an area of 1,400 feddans.
Mustafa Saeed, Supervisor of the new West Qena city project, explains that with regard to the housing and services sector, 114 low-income housing buildings are completed, as part of the presidential
Saeed reveals that a power station with a capacity of 40 megavolt-ampere, worth about EGP 40 mn, is completed.
It is worth noting that the total investments in the new West Qena city are estimated at about EGP 2 bn until 2023. The city is implemented on a total area of 8,971.11 feddans.
