Al Qamzi Developments Partners with SEI for EGP 218 Million Infrastructure Works

Al Qamzi Developments has signed a contract worth EGP 218 million with SEI – Zaki El Sewedy Holding to implement infrastructure networks for its projects in New Cairo and the North Coast, Invest-Gate reports. This collaboration aligns with Al Qamzi’s strategy to accelerate project execution and partner with leading companies to ensure top-tier quality.

Under the agreement, SEI will carry out infrastructure works for the first phase of the Seazen project in the North Coast, covering medium and low-voltage electricity networks, irrigation systems, sewage, water supply, and fire safety systems. The contract for this phase is valued at EGP 128 million.

Commenting on the partnership, Yasser Zidan, Executive Chairman of Al Qamzi Developments, emphasized the company’s commitment to delivering high-quality, innovative developments, particularly through the Seazen project. Spanning 204 feddans at kilometer 170 in the Dabaa area, Seazen features a total investment of EGP 14 billion and includes 2,200 fully finished units with kitchens and air conditioning.

Additionally, SEI will undertake infrastructure works for Al Qamzi’s Eastshire project in Fifth Settlement, with a contract worth EGP 90 million. The project covers 26 feddans, with only 18% of the land dedicated to residential buildings. It comprises 237 villas and townhouses, complemented by green spaces, retail outlets, restaurants, pharmacies, and office spaces.

Al Qamzi Developments is a subsidiary of Al Qamzi Group, a UAE-based construction giant founded in 1997. The company expanded into Egypt in 2010 through a partnership between Emirati businessman Abdullah Al Qamzi and Egyptian entrepreneur Yasser Zidan, unveiling major expansion plans in 2021.
