Emirati businessman Mohamed Alabbar, Chairman of Emaar Properties, has expressed his delight at the positive reception and warm welcome to the proposal of extending operations in Marassi on the North Coast of Egypt by an additional two months, Invest-Gate reports.
Alabbar emphasized that the opportunity to relish the splendor of Marassi should not be confined to just two months but should be extended for the longest duration possible to fully savor its incomparable beauty.
He elaborated that Marassi stands out as one of the most exquisite tourist destinations in the region, blending pristine white sandy beaches and crystal-clear blue waters with upscale amenities and comprehensive services that deliver a unique experience for visitors.
Just five days ago, Alabbar announced substantial reductions in hotel rates along with the extension of the tourist season in Marassi El Alamein until September and October.
He underscored that these price reductions are part of broader initiatives to boost tourism in Egypt, thereby offering increased opportunities for tourists to relish the lavish facilities and services of Marassi El Alamein, which has garnered popularity as a preferred tourist spot for visitors worldwide.
Taking to his account on X, Alabbar said: “I am gratified by the positive responses and reception to my proposal of extending operations in Marassi on the North Coast of Egypt for an additional two months to bask in the beauty and allure of Egypt’s North Coast.”
He added in another tweet, “This initiative aligns with President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi’s vision and his direct instructions to the government to amplify tourism, boost revenue, and draw a larger influx of visitors to this distinctive locale.”
Furthering his stance, Alabbar expressed: “As a businessman who holds affection for Egypt and an Arab investor who has reaped benefits and achieved considerable successes, it is incumbent upon me to lend support to this endeavor and initiative.”
He expressed his belief that fellow investors and businessmen will endorse this move, asserting, “I am resolutely convinced that other investors and businessmen, being inherently good-natured, will follow suit and endorse such initiatives.”
Alabbar affirmed that this initiative will wield a significant impact on Egypt’s tourism sector in the future, evident from the notable surge in the number of Gulf tourists visiting Egypt consistently and in escalating numbers.
Concluding his tweet, he remarked, “Both personally and on behalf of visitors from the Gulf, we hold a deep fondness for Egypt and its hospitable populace who receive us with warmth and generosity. All the essential ingredients for success are present… from the ambiance, security, to the welcoming people.”
