Abu Dhabi-based and top real estate developer, Aldar has seen a strong progress in its portfolio of residential projects in the emirate, Trade Arabia reported.

Construction work continues at West Yas, Aldar’s first villa community on the Yas Island, while sewerage, utility, telecommunication and lighting work are almost complete.

Additionally, the main school set to be run by Aldar Academies, is being handed over. The project was awarded with a two Pearl rating, confirming its compliance with Estidama goals, following an evaluation by Urban Planning Council in May, the developer said.

All clearances and permits were approved by authorities, and the tendering process is in the evaluation stage, Aldar said.

The residential community project at Al Hadeel , complementing Al Raha Beach’s suite of existing luxury residences and at Ansam, which is an Andalusian-style apartment development on the West side of Yas Island is now complete, while mechanical, electrical, plumbing (MEP) and internal block works are still ongoing, Aldar stated, according to The National.

In regards to the retail destination, civil and MED works have already started, and they are on schedule whilst shoring, excavation and structural works are progressing across the construction site.
