Construction works at the master-planned community of UAE’s developer Aldar Properties in Reem Island, Abu Dhabi is going at a “steady pace”, Invest-Gate reports.

Construction at the community is under way with streetscaping complete and the coastalscape nearing completion, with hard and soft landscaping and infrastructure expected to commence in July.

The company unveils Reem Central Park which is scheduled for opening in 2018, featuring a mosque with a capacity of 2,000 worshippers, in addition to a pool, food and beverage (F&B) outlets, a retail center, a skate park, play areas, and interactive water features.

The newly-opened 2.4-kilometer canal is flowing adjacent to 35 plots within Aldar’s project.

Commenting on The Bridges residential development, Aldar says it will comprise homes ranging from studios to three-bedroom apartments and a range of amenities upon its completion in early 2020.

As for Meera mid-market development on Reem Island, it is in a good progress with the structure now at the 16th floor out of 26.

The construction for the Vida Hotels and Resorts project is scheduled to start this year and is set for completion in 2020, operating a 262-key hotel and 192 serviced apartments.
