Minister of Housing, Utilities, and New Urban Communities Mostafa Madbouly has honored Head of the Rural Sanitation Company in Alexandria Mahmoud Nafea for managing the rain crisis in Alexandria that occurred due to the bad weather conditions of the past few weeks through rural sanitation channels, Invest-Gate reports.
Madbouly has also thanked the governor of Alexandria for finalizing recent projects in the governorate, including subway projects and developments on Alexandria Coast Road, the Corniche. Currently, Alexandria is working on several projects, including expanding stations and residential areas, and developing another rural sanitation project in the area of Abu Talat, alongside with other 12 projects at a cost of EGP 2 bn.
Nafea has previously signed a protocol with the governor of Alexandria to assign the Rural Sanitation Company the responsibility of combating heavy rains through rural sanitation channels in local areas within the governorate.
