Applicants for Beit El-Watan Housing Project Receive Land Plots Sunday

Minister of Housing Mostafa Madbouly announces that applicants for a national housing project located in New Cairo are to receive their land plots on Sunday, Invest-Gate reports

The “Beit Al-Watan (The House of Nation)” project is part of a national program launched by the state-run New Urban Communities Authority (NUCA) to develop land plots in various new urban communities in Egypt. Part of the major project targets Egyptians living abroad and land plots are purchased in USD.

Madbouli says that the applicants, who are all Egyptian expatriates, will receive their land plots from the New Cairo Municipality after submitting all required documents, a statement released by the Ministry of Housing shows.

Mostafa Fahmi, head of the New Cairo Development Authority, says that the land handover process will last until July 6.

The Beit Al-Watan project, which is built on an area of 9,093,000 square meters, is classified as a residential and commercial development area with some public services.  The project was launched by NUCA as part of the government’s ambitious strategy to flourish its housing sector.
