Arab Contractors, an Egypt-based construction company, is set to finish maintenance works on Qasr Al-Nil Bridge within the next two weeks, said Ahmed Taymour, deputy Cairo governor, Amwal Al Ghad reported.
The maintenance works on Qasr Al-Nil Bridge are part of several other maintenance projects to be carried out by the company in the upcoming period.
An iconic structure built in 1931, Qasr Al-Nil Bridge connects Tahrir Square in downtown Cairo to the modern Cairo Opera Complex towards Gezira Island.
Arab Contractors was established in 1955 and took part in building many government buildings in Egypt.
