The Arab Contractors Co., an Egypt-based construction firm, plans to complete infrastructure utilities for the first phase of New Alamein City by mid-2019, said Mohsen Salah, Arab Contractors Chairman, reported Amwal Al Ghad.
The infrastructure utilities in the city will cost EGP 1.3 billion. The company’s work in New Alamein is concentrated in the Lake District and Corniche, aiming to link the main coastal road heading south to pass under Alamein and reach the Salloum Tunnel with an area of one kilometer, said Salah reported Ahram News.
Infrastructure work, including utilities and roads, is implemented by the Arab Contractors Co., in cooperation with Armed Forces Engineering Authority.
The first phase of construction of the city is scheduled for completion by 2020, to cover an area of 41,000 acres.
