Assem El Gazzar, the Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, announced that the Arab Contractors Company has won seven awards for its diverse projects in the MEED International competition, Invest-Gate reports.
Ahmed El Assar, Chairman and CEO of the Arab Contractors, explained that the company received the first prize in the development projects category. The development project is the Maspero Triangle in Egypt.
Meanwhile, the second prize was awarded in the road axis projects category, which is the Kamal Amer Axis project in Giza. The third prize was awarded in the small projects category with a value of less than $50 mn. The project is the Tahrir Square Development project in Egypt.
Moreover, the fourth prize was awarded in the water projects category, which is the New Delta Water Treatment Station project in Egypt. El Assar further emphasized that the fifth prize was awarded in the social and educational projects category for the Technological Innovation Center project at Cairo University.
Finally, the sixth and seventh prizes were awarded in the construction projects category for the new headquarters of the Senate in the New Administrative Capital, along with the Meeraad Tower project.
